Oh wow thanks :) it’s heavily inspired by Banjo Kazooie and Spyro the Dragon, so hearing you say that is amazing!
It’s my passion project and was the first game I created, so I’m currently working on remaking it from scratch now that I’m a lot better at programming, albeit progress is a little halted right now. Feel free to join Twitter for updates when they come :)
just 1 thing before i go into this, great work for someone who made it alone
man man man, what a demo... the game just feels so AMAZING to play, and dont get me started about the controlls (accept underwater)!!! the only thing I noticed, and what I am sure you are going to fix, it that when you change the water nothing saves...
over all, an amazing demo to run around in!!!
and here is a chalange for any one who likes one, try to get on the edge of the map like i did (you will also get some treats on your way up):
I'm glad you enjoyed the demo! :) Sorry about it not saving, that was something I realised just before the upload :(
The swimming controls were introduced much later into development, and is something that I could refine somewhat.
Haha! Well done! I was hoping no one would find a way up, even though I discovered a way myself. So I did leave a little treat up there just incase. Guess I'll be adding some invisible walls. Or just block off the areas beyond and keep that area ;)
Before I wanna say, that played the demo like 4-5 hours and this is just my opinion on everything I got.
I really liked the balance of collecting and searching. For a demo really well made. The music was amazing and fits the game really well. I also love that you have to explore the map in the way the creator made it. But there are still a few things I wanna say that need to be fixed:
No save after you change the water level, Paulrus and Enemy voice only on left ear hearable.
After all I really think that this game is going in the right direction!
Yes, just before I was about to upload I noticed that the save didn't take place. It's a simple fix, but an oversight on my part, but sorry about that! I'll look into the sound stuff too, thanks for letting me know!
Thank you so much your interest! There definitely will be more indications in the near future, don't worry. Especially with a few cutscenes and story arcs added. Thanks for the input, though :) I'm glad you enjoyed it. Feel free to follow me on Twitter, Facebook etc. for more updates.

This looks amazing and giving me serious Banjo Kazooie vibes all the way from movement, collectables, scenery, and music. <3

I would give 5 out of 5 Stars for the demo!

I played that game.
I really enjoyed playing it although some parts were difficult to clear the tasks.
The characters are also really cute, especially Paurlus:)
The music is amazing too!
For the creater, I'd like to suggest to add some indications to play as I was sometimes confused what I needed to do.
I'd like to play more in the future!
I look forward to the new stages!
